Wade Thoren, LAc, LMT

Wade Thoren L.Ac., LMT uses acupuncture and bodywork in order to deep dive into chronic pain issues. Pain can come from the way we move about the world in our everyday lives and he aims to ask the right questions about a person’s life and work habits, posture and movement patterns to get an understanding of the bigger picture with the goal of optimizing mobility, strength and pain reduction. He takes a holistic view of the body in order to address root causes for a preventative approach and brings his expertise working in physical therapy and chiropractic offices including Physical Therapy Specialists in Beverly Hills, Dallmeyer & Thomas Physical Therapy, and Century City Hospital to his practice at Golden Folk.

He received his graduate degree to Traditional Chinese Medicine at Dongguk University and currently teaches as an adjunct professor of Tui Na at his alma mater. He studied as a massage therapist in the Connecticut School of Massage Therapy’s extensive two year program. To further expand his knowledge of the body, he trained with Dr. Mike Luan DC in the BioFunctional Method and traveled abroad to Chiang Mai to study Thai massage.
